Working with Electriculture and Nader, my solar panel engineer, was just awesome! I can't express how happy I am with the whole experience. He took care of everything from roofers, to electricians, to even plumbing to move a vent pipe! He was kind enough to do some searching, calling and organizing appointments for subcontractors. Nader sat down with my wife and me and explained the whole solar deal. He also answered all my questions about the government solar tax credit. Anytime I had a question, Nader spent a lot of time on the phone with me making sure everything was clear. His approach wasn't some generic spiel; he customized everything according to my needs. He worked around my schedule well. There was an unsightly vent pipe for sewer directly in the middle of my ideal array. He found a plumber for me and got it moved on installation day. I still use that plumber to this day for any other plumbing I need. I even got a new roof at the time so he was able to arrange a very affordable roofing company to do it simultaneously. The whole tearoff to installation was only 2-3 days if I remember correctly. They were very efficient. And after all was installed, Nader still will check in on the system if he sees something not right. One of the microinverters was defective from the factory, so he ordered the new part and got it installed as soon as it came in. The couple of times the solar data receiver got unplugged in my house, Nader was able to quickly identify that I wasn't reporting any data and called to check if I knew if anything was wrong. He is very vigilant to make sure I'm always getting 100% out of my system, even years after installation. In a nutshell, my experience with Electriculture and Nader was fantastic. If you're thinking about going solar, they're the ones to call. My solar panel system is everything I could've hoped for! I highly recommend Electriculture and Nader – they make the solar switch easy and fun. Thanks, guys!

I was really pleased with the attention to detail both before and during the installation. One of the positives for me is that Electriculture is a local Canton business, as opposed to an out-of-state firm with an Ohio post office box. I was dealing directly with the local owner, who was and is very knowledgeable. He was not just a salesman, but was the person who designed our system. He took the time to answer all our questions. The pricing was competitive. The build itself was well done, by people who knew what they were doing. I was very impressed by the use of competent union electricians. And there was a lot of attention to making our installation as visually attractive as possible to fit in with the expectations of our neighbors and our home owners association. I'm quite satisfied with the job. -- Bill Meyer

The Electriculture team was a pleasure to work with, they were realistic reviewing our shaded and East facing site and its potential for an appropriate solar collection system. All of the team members were courteous, conscientious and professional. We are happy to now be collecting solar energy which began, appropriately, on the summer solstice.

Electriculture’s team really cares about solar energy and it shows in their work. From day one they seemed just as excited to put solar on my office building as I was if not more, and by the end of it, I’m 100% confident I picked the right guys for the job.

Electriculture was great to work with from start to finish. They answered all of our questions thoroughly, took care of all of the paperwork, and had great communication along the way. They fulfilled our request to use American made panels, and did so in a timely fashion to meet our hoped for installation timeline. We really appreciated the great customer service with the same person always quickly answering any questions we had. Our system was a great value, especially with the federal tax credit, and was exactly what we had hoped for when we were looking into going solar.

You will find no one more enthusiastic about promoting solar culture and products than Electriculture. This is not just for monetary gain but promoting the culture to improve the environment. Project pricing was appealing. Approached the project with expertise and confidence, keeping me fully informed throughout. Some problems arose with supply chain and/or installation, but were resolved efficiently.

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Electriculture consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Electriculture solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Electriculture.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.
