Go Green Electric is a fantastic small, locally owned company. They installed solar panels on my house this summer and helped me work with Xcel Energy to get them up and running quickly. The crew was professional and knowledgeable and left my property is perfect shape after the installation. I love my solar panels and highly recommend Go Green Electric!

Go Green Electric and Solar provided excellent service from start to finish. Michael was easy to get a hold of and always had the answer to my questions. Ryan worked with me to customize a system that catered to my needs both now and in the future. The installation phase moved extremely quickly. I had a functioning PV system and net metering agreement in place with Xcel in roughly 2 months. I credit this to Go Green Electric and Solar’s attention to detail and experience. With so many options out there to choose from, I’m glad to have found a local company that delivers the absolute highest quality product and service.

We had thought about going solar for many years when a salesperson from a startup solar company (to remain unnamed) showed up at our door to solicit business. That encounter left me with more questions than answers and so I decided to check out multiple companies in the Denver area. We received 8 quotes from companies large and small, local and national; interviewed 3 companies and then chose Go Green Electric. They are local, have many years of experience, gave us a reasonable quote with highly rated panels & inverters, were responsive to requests for modifications on the quote, and included features that other companies charged extra. Mike and his crew were excellent to work with. They handled all permits, applications, and scheduled inspections. They kept us informed at every step and answered my many questions. The installation was clean and efficient. The panels blend so well with our roof such that the system is unobtrusive and, despite facing the entrance, is often unnoticed by guests until we point it out. The whole process, from the day we signed the agreement to the day the system went live, only took two months. We are thrilled that we went with Go Green Electric and highly recommend them.

We had a fantastic experience with Go Green Electric and our solar power system installation. We interviewed several solar power companies and ultimately decided to go with Go Green largely based on Michael’s responsiveness to our questions, and his thorough explanation to the technology and installation process. They worked closely with our Credit Union, making the financing painless. And Ryan kept on top of Xcel to ensure everything was in place for our system cut over. The entire solar power project could not have been easier thanks to the crew at Go Green electric.

We first looked into a solar system in the middle of 2022. After contact with a few companies, one from out-of-state, we met with Mike and his team from Go Green Electric in September of 2022. They gave me a bid and promises that were kept from day one. The Go Green bid was in line with our expectations, but the fulfillment of the project was far above. The company is proactive in soliciting feedback from its clientele, prompt in replying to inquiries, listens, and advises – there is active communication throughout the project and, even now, after completion. We have always been able to contact Go Green Electric representatives and have always felt like our concerns were important to them. The installation was on schedule; the crew was prompt and efficient, leaving the premises clean. The system itself is neat and as minimal as it can be. Unfortunately, the system has only been active for two months, so we have no long-term experience to comment on. We have just gotten our first bill from Xcel with an entire month of solar energy production. Our bill was a credit for the electric portion – too bad we still had to pay the gas portion. We are looking forward to more of those credit statements! This initial introduction to the world of solar has been highly satisfying and hassle-free due in large part to the experience, capability, and enthusiasm of the Go Green team.

Spent a fair amount of time interacting with them and only after hours of phone and emails and requotes - I asked them about my roof as another party mentioned it. They then said “oh I should have asked …we won’t take on this project”. This should be a standard question and I am frustrated that they wasted my time.

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Go Green Electric, Inc. consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Go Green Electric, Inc. solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Go Green Electric, Inc..
