After reading a few glowing reviews of the company and a long conversation with Ron Bennet, the owner, it was clear that this was the team to handle my install. Ron and his team installed our ground array in 2015 and it has been functioning flawlessly ever since. In 2018 the team did another amazing roof install for a total of 49 panels. I have been nothing but happy with their customer support and the individual attention that Ron personally gives to us. If you're looking for a personal experience instead of the large impersonal installs you'll get with large national installers, then Ron and his team will fit the bill.

My experience with Ron and his team was top-notch from start to finish. I highly recommend you contact them if you're considering solar. You won't regret it!

They designed and installed a solar field on top of my newly constructed liquor store. They helped me with every aspect with regards to the project. from design, to guiding me through the grant process, to completion, they were there every step of the way. They even went beyond the scope of the job to ensure that I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend them for residential and commercial!!

Having spent 37 years working as a field technician and supervisor for the installation and maintenance of natural gas distribution system equipment I am not an easy customer to please. I have overseen many complex systems in my career and had definite ideas on how I wanted to see things done at my home. I was very impressed when the company owner, system engineer, electrical contractor and panel installers all came to my house to discuss my ideas. They not only seriously considered my suggestions but improved upon them. These people not only know their stuff but better still care about doing things right and meeting the customers needs.

Going solar is the best investment we made in our home. It paid for itself in a little over three years and now the rest is gravy. By gravy I mean not having utility bills is our savings that can go toward other home improvements.

The lessons we've been able to teach our children about being sustainable have been invaluable as well. They talk about being environmentally friendly at school and my kids can talk about how they are doing it at home.

They did an excellent job. They took care of almost everything with only a few signatures. When I hit a problem with something (such as the loan), I could contact them and they pointed me in another direction. The parts delivery and install happened extremely quickly (almost immediately after the loan was signed).

There was never a question that we were going to get involved with solar energy. Several companies weighed in, but we were won over by GotSun-GoSolar - essentially because of the people involved, but ultimately because of their commitment to clean energy, to their clients' best use of such, and favorable financial comparisons. Given Patty's clean presentation, Ron's professionalism and Bill's technical expertise, not to mention the bright and personable Sarah Jane and John's meticulous installation, there was no question that this was the right direction. They are genuinely interested in providing clean energy in a professional manner at a reasonable cost. And it all makes us very happy!

We had a very positive experience with GotSun-GoSolar. At the beginning they met with us, learned everything they needed to know about our specific situation, and answered all of our questions. It's clear they have a lot of knowledge and experience behind them -- and they're also really nice people who value the environment and believe in what they do. The installation itself took less than a week, and the end result looks great. Throughout the process GSGS kept us informed, were very responsive, and addressed all of our concerns. Ron, the owner, personally oversaw every step of the installation, and Sarah Jane handled all of the contacts and paperwork required for obtaining permits, registering for government rebates, connecting with the grid, selling SRECs, etc. With so many different parts to the process, I thought there would be a lot I would need to read up on and do -- but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a breeze. GSGS took care of everything for us, just requesting signatures when necessary. Now that it's up and running it feels great to check our online monitoring page and see all of the free, clean electricity that our panels are producing every day!

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Got Sun Go Solar consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Got Sun Go Solar solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Got Sun Go Solar.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.
