Purchasing solar for the first time can be challenging and worry some, which indeed was the case with me. I started searching for a solar company and installer in late December not knowing anything about the size of solar needed or NEM2.0 and NEM3.0. One thing I was certain, I wanted to go with a local business rather than going with big corporation. After a few months of research, I came across Infinium Solar. Kenny the sales rep reached out to me the same day I made an inquiry and set up an appointment for the very next day for in person consultation. He was very patient at explaining literally everything and provided me with all the details about how solar systems work, how many panels my house will require, what the installation process and timeline will be, etc. We decided to move forward with the 16 Panel, 6.0 KW system in mid March. Kenny kept me updated throughout the whole process of all the paperwork and permits. I had all the necessary permits and approval within a month and was scheduled for installation of the system just a little after a month. Original install date I was provided turns out they had me double booked with someone else and had to reschedule. Got a new installation date for 2 weeks out. Day of install, the team arrived on time, started their job on time and was done by 2pm. They were very nice and friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. During the installation a few of my room tiles broke but they replaced them with new ones and for added bonus they even fixed a few of my crack titles as well. System was up and running the same day. Although the PTO took a while as PG&E was backed up. Overall I would highly recommend Infinium solar for your Solar needs. I have recommended them to a friend of mine and they are happy with their system too. I did have some issues along the way but Infinium was on top of their customer service, always answering the emails and phone calls promptly.

I recently had a Franklin battery installation and solar panels installed by Infinium Solar, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were professional, efficient, and highly skilled in their work. Paired with the REC solar panels, my energy savings have been significant. I highly recommend this company for their exceptional service and expertise in Franklin battery installations and solar panel systems.

I recently worked with A.T. from Infinium Solar for a roof and solar panel project, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. A.T. was highly knowledgeable about both roofing and solar solutions and provided valuable insights throughout the entire process. They helped me choose the right roofing materials that would complement the solar panels seamlessly. The installation went smoothly, and the team was professional and efficient.

Jeff Long (CEO), with 15-years experience in the industry and his team at Infinium Solar were just awesome - they customized a solar solution with new panels plus minor repairs on an existing panel installation, and connected the existing panels and the new panels to a single monitoring phone App. Infinium Solar completed the site survey, installation, and city permit process efficiently and rapidly. No other installer was experienced enough to offer this level of customization at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Infinium for any of your Solar Projects.

Infinium Solar did an outstanding job for a 14 panel Solar system on my house. They were quick and were able to get the entire project done within the timeline they gave to me initially. Most importantly, i like that they are local to San Jose and have in house installers for electric and solar work. Before starting with Infinium Solar, i was working with Project Solar (another company) who were not able to do any work in 8 months which was kind of disappointment for me. Kenny(my solar consultant) from Infinium Solar was very professional and kept me updated through the entire process. I would recommend them to my friends and family for future solar work.

Infinium Solar has been an great partner to install the solar system in my house. The prices were extremely competing and so was the work done . Jeff(CEO) and his team is somebody who you can trust. They were proactive is providing granular updates on the schedule and got the job done as promised. The installation was done in 2 hours without any botheration of commitment of my time. The whole process from request to quote to pass of final inspection had zero presence of mine and was only limited to minimal emails and phone calls. I had gone thru half a dozen of vendors to negotiate on price and workmanship to zero in on Infinium Solar , and they lived up to expectation.

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Infinium Solar consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Infinium Solar solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Infinium Solar.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.
