Company was good to work with, delivered as promised, and provided a top quality system that has actually produced more in the first 2 1/2 years than they promised. We were so pleased we had them install an expansion system this spring.

Recently had a problem with my Fronius inverter that I wasn't able to resolve myself. Though my solar array was older and self-installed they came out to look at it. They had a good relationship with the techs at Fronius and were able to quickly determine a bad component needed replacing.

It's obvious they are customer focused and enjoy their work. Definitely recommend them!

-- Larry Seneker

Missouri Solar Apps handled all the paperwork for the interconnection agreement with the utility, as well as the research on available tax credits. With the installed system I like that we can monitor our solar array online anytime. Missouri Solar Applications has been a pleasure to work with.

In all phases of the process MoSolar was professional and superb in the service and installation. Our installation was the first for our local utility and the MoSolar engineers assisted them in revising and updating their documentation to allow us to connect our system to the grid. From the first contact with MoSolar to the time that the system was installed, tested and on-line was 6 weeks. The system went on line in late Dec and the technicians had to brave serious cold weather here to make it work and they did gracefully. We are all satisfied with the work and the system operation.

Install was professionally done and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. The schedule day was due to solar panel supplier issues and beyond MSA's control.
Flexibility of MSA to work with me and modify job parameters as needed was outstanding.
I worked in the utility industry for 33 years and was very pleased with their knowledge and work product.
Recommended and used top quality products.

I chose Missouri Solar Apps this summer to seal our commercial metal roof, install our solar electric system and convert our interior lighting to a more efficient fluorescent light bulb. We just received our first full month Ameren bill and we very pleased with an 80% reduction in cost compared to this same billing period last year! The crew at Missouri Solar Apps have been very good to work with. They were very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process with absolutely no surprises. I love the fact that they use products made in the USA. Now our store is so much brighter, our roof doesn't leak anymore and we are able to reduce a big expense while using clean, renewable energy from the sun.

Missouri Solar was excellent to work with. They kept us posted on what was planned and when. The solar system has cut our summer cooling bill in half.

Missouri Solar Applications is a company that was pleasant to deal with, but more importantly, the installers and professional staff were highly skilled and knowledgeable about solar energy. The 12-system solar panels have produced energy as expected. We are happy to have made the decision to add the the solar panels to our home.

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Missouri Solar Applications consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Missouri Solar Applications solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Missouri Solar Applications.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.
