Brady and his team did a great job. Because our roof tiles were a bit different, we needed to get a roofing company to do some work before the panels could be installed. Renewable USA handled all of that for us. Everything was installed on time and is working perfectly! I've already referred them to a neighbor!

It did take them little longer to install then the time frame mention . But I am still very happy with the service and panels I got . I had no prob , with panels or service Its been 11 months they install my panel . thumps up from me

We got quotes from 3 companies, Renewable USA was the only company to answer all of our questions and answer the ones we had not known to ask yet. Unlike the other sales people who came to quote us, Brady and Nick actually knew the product they were selling and all of the install and permit requirements. They gave us actual completion dates and told us what to expect from the City and local electric company. They also got us both the Federal and city rebates that were available at that time. Once the contract was signed, the arrival of the solar panels happened quickly and the work began. The team doing the install were professional and very courteous. The project was completed on time, the city came out for final inspection and the system has been running without issues since. Most months we only pay the service charges that everyone has on their bills. Renewable USA can monitor our system and will know if anything is wrong before we do. Plus we can check it (phone app) any time. In the beginning we looked at it every night, now we look at it maybe once a month because it just works! We highly recommend Renewable USA, so much so that two of our friends have also used them.

Working with the guys at Renewable was super straight forward. It took a little while for me to commit but when I did, everything worked out perfectly. I’m 100% happy with the level of service, how long it took to get everything installed and most importantly the quality of work. Thanks again.

I was impressed with the outcome. Knowing they have been in business for 12 years made me feel better going with Renewable versus other companies. Highly suggest going with Renewable.

My husband and I just purchased our first home and after one summer of running the AC we quickly realized we needed solar to offset the cost. We went with Renewable USA because their pricing was the most competitive for what was included. Free quote, install, monitoring, production insurance and concierge service. We also liked that they are so cal locals and a not a corporate machine. The service and experience was much more personal and they offer more custom designs compared to some of the other companies we talked to (like the ones at Costco and Home Depot). I was skeptical at first how solar would look on our house, I really didn’t want to look at it in a daily basis. Also, we have an HOA so it couldn’t be visible from the street either. Nick provided us with a couple of layout and panel options and it we went the less amount of panels and higher production for our roof layout. Install happened a couple weeks later as promised and our system was producing within 3 weeks. Fast forward a few months we are using the air everyday now - set to about 74/75 and we have no electric bill! Happy wife, happy life!

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Renewable USA consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Renewable USA solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Renewable USA.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.

  • Site Survey: Technician assesses the site for solar panel installation, checking roof orientation and structural integrity.
  • Engineering: Behind-the-scenes process finalizes system layout, electrical configuration, and structural safety for permit submission.
  • Permitting: The company obtains necessary permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Installation: Expert team mounts panels, installs wiring and inverters, connects the system to the grid.
  • System Activation: Request final inspections, obtain permission to operate (PTO) from the utility, and turn on the system. Monitoring apps track power generation.
