Rising Sun Solar installed systems (panels and tesla batteries) on two homes in Poipu for us. They have been a joy to work with. The installation was done in a timely manner by friendly people. The systems are working flawlessly, and their follow-up has been great. I highly recommend them.

You may be able to expect some delays with materials, or your specific Power Company on whichever Island you work with them on, But Rising Sun themselves prove to be great partners, provided incredible value, and what absolutely recommend them as your GC. Joe and Sam at Rising Sun approached my job top to bottom , made things simple , always responded to me quickly , and maintain contact after the work was done to ensure proper function . The benefits of installing PV are just getting stronger, and one of these years the tax breaks are going to go away. If you're settled, don't expect to move, and have equity in your property, I can think of few better ways to reinvest in your residence. My electrical bill went from over 500 to under a hundred bucks. It would be zero right now, but all the extra power has enabled me to lead a higher standard of living, and now I enjoy air conditioning Around the Clock, an additional refrigerator and gaming PC, and soon an ev.

I am biased as this my company, however I am so unbelievably happy with the quality of the installation. Quality of the communication, and the quality of the service. How could I recommend or confidently present the solar products if I didn't use them myself. A+++

We are so glad to have had Rising Sun Solar’s services available to us on Kauai. Jeremy and Joe were professional, accessible and responsive. It’s hard to imagine a team executing better than they did. Top notch folks that made everything come together like clockwork. Even my sister on the mainland wishes their services were available to her there. We love having the Tesla batteries as back up and the app that lets us monitor exactly how everything is functioning. We got our solar system up and running just before the recent storm hit and the North Shore grid went down. Others may have had issues but we maintained power. Thank you Rising Sun Solar for making Paradise even better!

We are so excited with our new solar roof and the service was great too ;) The Rising Sun Solar installation crew was really easy to work with and someone was always around to answer one of my many questions. Now we are having fun playing with the app and testing how different things impact the flow of power :)

I have been managing projects on Kauai and in Hawaii since 2001, and am very familiar with getting best value and performance from contractors which is critical to success. Recently, my wife and I decided to get a solar PV and battery system and requested proposals from a few companies, including Sunrise Solar. Jeremy contacted us and presented a proposal with detailed description of the scope, cost, and timeframe. He quickly answered our questions and we decided to contract the work with them. The experience with Sunrise Solar has exceeded our expectations. Communication has been great, the work crews, both PV and electrical are extremely professional, very friendly, and considerate, and we have been given a quality product. Jeremy knows what he is doing, and he works in a company that lives up to the promises it makes. Again, we are incredibly pleased with Sunrise Solar and will recommend them.

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Rising Sun Solar - Kauai solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Rising Sun Solar - Kauai.
