Simply solar was professional, streamlined, quick, communicative and very responsive. I looked at 5 companies for my job and no one could really come close to what Simply Solar was offering. I have a clay tile roof that is from the 1940s. Some companies flat out turned down the job, other companies said I had to hire a roofing company on my own to put the panel brackets in. Simply Solar was the only company that could do everything themselves in house and on top of that they have a very solid warranty on any leaks or damage to the roof. I’m very happy I went with Simply Solar as they seem to have the experience and capabilities to do more complex jobs quickly and smoothly. Very easy to work with them as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the process of going solar with Simply Solar. And I'm very happy with the results. David F walked me through all of my options and explained the process and timeline. Ally was our day to day coordinator and a pleasure to work with. And to be honest, the installation crew was fantastic: it took a day and a half, and they were on time and very thorough. A really nice team. And my electric bill is gone!

These folks are professional, efficient and low-pressure during my research and planning phases. The installation went smoothly and a minor monitoring issue with one panel was resolved quickly during the busy summer season. I found that EMails for support didn;t work well, so I started calling their production department. They couple of calls were pleasant and they took care of my questions and one issue to my satisfaction. Good folks.

They were honest and not pushy when selling me my solar. Then they were quick and took care of everything between the sale and installation so that I didn't have to worry. The installation went great, and then between the panel outside and the app, I can always see how much energy and money I'm saving! I'd recommend them to anyone for their honesty and professionalism.

I received 4 estimates prior to making a decision to go with Simply Solar. Our install was completed in April 2022 and so far we have been very happy with the whole process. In addition to having solar installed we also had Simply Solar upgrade our electric panel for which we also got several bids. We were very happy with the staff we interacted with from our sales person (very low pressure and highly informative), the initial sales staff that fielded our call, the project coordinator and the installation staff and electricians. The sales person took the time to educate us on the products they use and provided us with detailed information so we could follow up with doing our own research on how the components they use stack up against the competition. So far we have ZERO regrets. I'm always cautious about having holes in the roof, but after meeting the installers and speaking the the crew chief, I'm pretty confident that we won't be seeing any leaks due their installation. The staff that did the electric panel upgrade even came back and painted the framing they put in around the new panel, which we were told would be our responsibility. Gotta love the attention to detail!!

Simply solar installed 16 panels on my roof. Had a leak that damaged my ceiling in. My 10 year old daughters room. Called sales rep who addressed the leak right away but it was getting my ceiling repaired where the nightmare began. Delt with Sara in the office. Had to call her week after week to get my ceiling repaired. Black mold and all. Everytime I call her she acted confused about my needs. Had to remind her week after week. Took over a month to get the ceiling repaired. She does not answer her emails or return a phone call. I literally had to call her after no response for a week after a week. That happened four times. Now I'm dealing with getting my ceiling repainted and again no response back from my email after a week and once again no returned phone calls. Horrible!!! Horrrible!!! The sales rep was good though. That's the only good thing I have to say. Unacceptable office behavior.

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Simple Solar consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Simple Solar solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Simple Solar.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.
