Solar Energy World was a pleasure to work with. The salesman Sean helped explain everything upfront to me and was very thorough. He kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and was very responsive. The install crew was very professional and cleaned up after they wrapped up. Now that my first solar loan payment has started, my utility bill has been completely eliminated other than a fixed $10 monthly grid connection fee to PECO. I highly recommend Solar Energy World to anyone interested in solar!

We learned about Solar Energy World (SEW) through our neighbors in Arlington, VA. They seemed really happy with their install and we had a new electric car on the way and so wanted to explore the benefits. We were newbies and Zachary did a fantastic job of explaining how solar works (installation, cost, working with your power company, etc.). He also set realistic expectations of what we could expect. Using historical data from our electric bill images of our roof, pitch, trees, etc., Zachary pulled together a quote for us. He also had folks come out and inspect our roof which was 20 years old. Yep, we needed a new roof so we did everything at once-- through Zachary. Zachary was also super helpful in suggesting a easy to use way to finance the job (new roof and 38 panels). Zachary also helped us with timing to avoid potential cost increases and made it feel like a one stop shop (even though financing was with another company). Our job was probably medium difficulty to install as we have a detached garage and so additional lines had to be run. SEW did all of the engineering and presented us with a plan. Once we signed, we were off to the races. The installation was really well done and included great names like Silfab and Enphase. SEW made every effort to make the install look nice and SEW handled everything-- including inspection. We just had to be home to let workers/inspectors in. After the job was complete, Zachary and Erica did a fantastic job of answering our questions-- we still had many and so will you. They also went above and beyond in helping us to get our local power company to approve our system to maximize savings. SEW is legit and does not over promise. Honestly, we were disappointed initially when Zachary told us that 38 panels would not cover our entire electric bill. A lot of companies could tell you otherwise and simply not deliver. We knew up front that our installation would cover around 70% to 80% which was still worth it for us. Our installation is new enough where we are still tracking bills but electric prices have definitely dropped and now I can power my new EV truck with solar power which is incredibly efficient from both a cost and time perspective. There is a learning curve with solar in terms of design, installation, dealing with your power company and cost. Do your homework and ask a lot of questions. Definitely ask for Zachary and Erica-- they are a fantastic team and made our process so much easier. Would I use SEW again or recommend to a friend? The answer is an absolute yes-- and we have already done so. Great job Zachary, Erica and SEW!

Had a tremendous experience and my panels have been up and running for 4 months now. The advisor/client rep (for me) was Jacques Frink, and he was fantastic and professional-- explained every step in detail and any follow up questions I had, whether on the architecture blueprint (questions on fitting more), the estimated production (explained SREC pricing), etc. Solar Energy World (SEW) has a very good overview document that they provide to detail out the system, overhead shots of the roof, etc. Would highly recommend given their volume of work in the area, and in particular the way they handle gaining approvals from my HOA, town permits, etc. Class act and made it very easy, which is why I feel okay typing this much : ) Also- if it matters-- I feel the "look" of the panels they use is very sleek/unassuming, so it looks very 'clean' on the roof. Also decided based on the 30-yr insured (transferable if home is sold) Installation was NOT on schedule but that was due to Dominion Energy having a delay for every customer due to the new type of meter they were starting to use.

Zach did a great job was always available to answer questions and most importantly would keep in touch with us regarding the progress of the our Solar project, have already suggested him to many of my colleagues, friends and family.

I was leary about going Solar and had spoken with a few companies and am grateful I found Solar World, from the initial consultation with my salesman Jairo to their scheduling staff gave nothing but great customer service, from answering my questions to the installation to completion I was kept informed every step of the way which is not typical in this day and age. If you're looking to go Solar I would highly recommend giving them a call!

Great job! The team was very efficient. Installing went on smoothly as planned and I was informed about every detail from finished to start. The company helped me saved a lot of money by installing my electric tail line. A project that almost hindered my installing. Always contact solar energy world for all your solar questions. I will definitely call them again for another project.

Overall I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience with Solar Energy World. Although very skeptical at first and hesitant, Scott Grams made the sales and installation (Emily) experience worry free. Scott exemplifies the meaning of customer service. He put up with my insistent questioning and educated me along the way. Something you don't see much of especially these days! I offer my highest recommendation for Scott and Solar Energy World. If you're on the fence and need questions answered contact Scott at Solar Energy World. He knows what he's talking about (believe me my wife and I verified everything) There were NO SURPRISES! Scott went the extra mile to ensure the customer is completely satisfied!

Solar Energy World made our entire experience truly effortless. I was overwhelmed with solar companies and state regulations but Scott took the time to walk us through the process from start to finish with clarity and expertise. Not only did the entire install go more smoothly than I expected but Solar Energy World was there every step of the way to resolve any issues and answer questions without missing a beat. Even when we had the rude awakening that my roof needed more repairs than anticipated, Scott found prompt solutions even though he was away on vacation. I can't recommend this company enough!
