I have been holding off on this review as I have had my system for over two years and must say have had good productivity. My complaints are the misleading statements that the sales and service personnel use. First I am seventy years old and confined to a wheelchair. When I was approached by the sales person she seemed knowledgeable and confident. My eyes aren't what they used to be and she lead me through the paperwork. It seemed above board until this last fall. I received a demand for payment of over ten thousand dollars as a balloon payment. I called Mosaic and inquired about this charge. They sent me a copy of the contract that I had signed and sure enough there was a little paragraph in the small print that set this payment out. When I was going through the paperwork with the sales person I kept asking about finance charges and interest etc. She assured me that the monthly payment would never increase and as long as I made the payments on time the price would never be more than the twenty five thousand or so. When I contacted Mosaic after payment on time of every monthly obligation for two years, I now owed thirty three thousand dollars. So in two years time after payments I owed eight thousand more than I started with. I stared called Solcius and after getting no intelligible response, started considering having the system removed. I was told that it was doable but I still would have the financial obligations. I then dug into my life savings and paid Mosaic off. I called Solcius back and told them that it was paid off and how long before I would see some profit from the system. They said that they kept the profit. I inquired about changing companies and I was informed that they could disconnect the system but it couldn't be just left because of permits and their policies. I asked about a battery backup system. I was quoted another twenty thousand dollars. Now when it was under financing I asked about battery backup and was told that it wasn't available. Since I purchased the system the company has changed hands and the tech and product support has been moved off shore and communications is next to impossible unless you speak some form of one of the Spanish dialects. If I knew then what I do now I would not have done business with this company. I would recommend that you research other options thoroughly before choosing this company. They are very good at passing the buck and not delivering unless you hold their feet to the fire and even then they will gouge you and lie to you.

I had my system installed in Dec 2018 and activated in Jan 2019. I just finished the replacement of my 4th inverter on my 5 year old system. Without fail, my inverter fails during early/mid-June and it takes 6-8 weeks to get the inverter replaced. Solcius says they will reimburse for lost production and not to worry about how long it takes to get the inverter replaced. I called today, after my system was down for 44 days and they offered me $25. My system is a 34 panel 10KWh system... $25 is insulting. The Solar Edge inverter they keep installing has been garbage as well. Super disappointed in the system and waste of time/money managing it.

Bad company!!! Your rep in NM tricked my elderly parents into purchase stating tax incentive even on Social security, NOT the case as that was the whole reason for the decision. Rep lied, misleading, misinformed or not educated about tax incentives on SSA income! Bad!!! Now they are stuck on a contract! Will pursue this along with other dissatisfied customers!!!!

Do not do business with My Smart House https://solarforyourhouse.com/california/murrieta/my-smart-house/my-smarthouse.com or Solcius!!!! For almost a year we have been dealing with them and their so called experts, haven't fulfilled one of the promises they made. My Smart House, Carl Vizzi personally promised to handle and resolve the issues and not only is he not able to return calls, they are a year and half behind schedule, according to the staff. They requested and were provided with, all documents and historical billing information from our power provider. With that information they performed all the engineering and design work. They insisted that the panel and equipment design, the owner personally handled, would generate at a minimum of 110 percent of all our power requirements. Furthermore, they said that at each year end, we would receive a compensation check from SCE for the surplus power that our system would contribute in to the SCE power grid. This was a classic turnkey project because My Smart House and Solcius provided all the engineering, specified and furnished all the materials and equipment and provided all the labor to install the equipment. After the system came online and was interfaced with SCE, it immediately became apparent that the systems power production was woefully inadequate to fulfill what was promised by Solsouis. They were contacted immediately about the shortfall and insisted that it would take a year for the system to fulfill all that was promised. After eight months of them stalling making excuses, they have admitted that there is a problem, however, we will have to sign a $10,000 change order for the addition of more solar panels to correct their engineering mistake. This is classic "Bait and Switch" operation. They purposely gave a low ball bid to be awarded the contact, with the full intention of later submitting a change order. When our air conditioning is used sparingly, we are getting $300 - $350 SCE bills along with the $200 payment for the solar system. "Buyer Beware" these guy's are professional con artists, including the adorable young saleswoman who came into our living room and lied to my face. We were told, Solcius the supplier and installer partner company is in a lawsuit with My Smart house and we will have to file with State Contractors Board and Energy Commission. Since it appears these companies maybe going under, this is truly a nightmare. Last week I was asked to hold off and Carl was going to resolve when he returned from his vacation. A week passed and Carl finally took my call but was at the gym again? Apparently he is to busy to deal with his customers over the last 7 months!!!!

DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM SOLCIUS! WARNING! The CEO and employees have different versions of how they view Solcius from Horrible to, "I have to keep my job excuses". Install team hates the CEO and says he doesn't care a bit if complaints come in, he still makes his solar money! Audios of Solcius Customer Service telling me they feel Solcius owed us money for time loss and inconvenience charges". The saddest thing about this whole thing is that the CEO lives in an nice home where he doesn't have consequences for his actions and the TERRIBLE reviews of Solcius continue to pour in how terrible they are. I experienced the WORST company of a life time being Solcius Solar. Of course you will see every excuse in the book as a response after I write my review. I spent a whole year dealing with destruction of my property to almost our house catching on fire. The Solcius electricians shorted out our AC Unit and had to spend thousands of dollars to replace it. Solcius sent me a cashier's check to hire a new electrical company but refused to replace our AC unit blaming it on poor workmanship. The AC unit was working PERFECT before Solcius set foot on our property. The Executive Asst to the CEO said Solcius owed us money! The Customer Sales Reps said Solcius owed us money! The Install guys said Solcius screwed up bad! The GM of Solcius called me and apologized and said he would take care of me with reimbursements! All a lie! Electricians blew our microwave up and shorted out all the outlets including the AC unit. They left bare wires hanging out! (Have pictures). The install Supv agreed with shorting out our AC unit, but said his boss told him to blame the AC unit. He went on to say that he is not an AC guy but was told to report it as an AC issue. The install guys installed the inverter box in the wrong location of the property. Tucson Electric Power Company said Solcius screwed up! Much much more but to much to list! The sales Rep for Solcius said Solcius had so many accounts that went bad, but the CEO could care less! The install took forever with inside blaming and fighting going on at Solcius continuously finger pointing! I have 4 other customers of Solcius in Arizona that were paid out and screwed over by Solcius in workmanship, customer service, and install work. Solcius is going to laugh at this review because of the failure on their part. All I want is the CEO to pay me for the AC unit and inconvenience of me being without AC for 3 months in the middle of the summer in Tucson, Az at 100 plus temperatures. We were forced to stay at hotels and relatives homes. When Solcius sent a check to reimburse us for the electrical work they delivered it to the wrong neighborhood and caused another delay. I hope this message goes back to the CEO and understands as a retired law enforcement officer and serving Arizona for 25 years, you should be embarrassed of your company and the service that I received and I will spread this word for the rest of my life to people wanting solar to stay away from the Solcius Company! Send me HALF the money for the AC Unit and I will write the best review about Solcius making up for their mistakes! You know who I am Mr. CEO, Kelly Walker. Do the right thing and call me personally! That's all I ask for. I have NEVER hired an attorney because all I want is your call. I believed in your solar company and bought it, now do the right thing for me please! Robert G. Tucson, Az. Solcius Rating: HORRIBLE

Very sad to pat to this company I hope everyone get away it is a scam. Very easy to sell the product AND get installed but NEVER worked since then(JAN 2023). Did not pass inspection. No one care about the time spent everyday to follow up and make payments for service never received. Promises are the easiest thing to hear it but you will never receive any compensation for your frustration or your hard work to follow on service that you are paying with no return. I am screwed up. Please step away from all of those people. IT IS A SCAM

My solar went down over a year ago. I was never notified being that I took the loan over three years ago when I purchased my house, this company states I never did a transfer, but I did and have been making payments for three years total now. They stated it was my fault that I didn’t pay attention to the energy productivity, but was never sent a manual or an app or any disclaimers. I’m still without solar. It has been over a year. The manufacturer has sent me the new inverter, and this company has been nowhere to be found or heard from for an install. I don’t recommend this place whatsoever. I’m stuck with a $3000 energy bill from Edison that Solcius states they will not cover what I should have produced through the year. If you’re looking into this company stay far far far away. I look forward to the lawsuit I’ll be dealing with coming for them since they’ve yet to fix my issue or send me any disclosures that state I am responsible.

Started the process in May 2022, panels have been installed but haven’t pass inspection. Have been paying the loan and electricity bill since December 2022. Panels were installed in a different location according to the contract signed. Every time I contact customer service they say that they are working on it.

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Solcius Solar solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Solcius Solar.

Multiple Quotes:
