DON'T LISTEN TO THE HYPE, WE LOVE TITAN! Titan was such a great company for me....I was able to ask a few of their representatives why they have some upset customers and they where very clear and transparent with me. Being a business owner myself, I understood what they meant when they said they had a bad year and quite extensive turnover of staff.... trying to get people that represented their brand, company, integrity and ethics correctly took a while company wide remodel. The director or owner ended up starting over, letting go anyone who showed diminished care for their clients. Its a tough process and I've been there...bad staff are common, lazy workers even more so. Impatience is thriving in 2022, we know this! So, I take my hat off that they put their foot down and made sure to get out all the bad apples though that is no easy task. PRODUCT: I've NEVER had a problem with TITAN at all. They've always been wonderful to work with, thorough, timely and competent. PANELS: Their panels have held up substatially, i have neighbors who's panels broke down and actually started to come apart after 3 years because they chose another company that was cheaper. Jokes on them!...mine are still looking and producing like bran new after 6! PRICING If you put them up against companies that use product comparable or of similar quality, then their pricing is very reasonable. BUT if you compare them to the local mom and pop that wants everyone to be FOOLED and go with them before their panels start breaking then you will be the dunce come 2025. Everyone, actually, that I know who went with the "cheaper" company got what they paid for compared to me. I'm the only one in the neighborhood that has withstood all hail, wind and snow storms without any problems. I think people like to talk about the bad more than they do the good and if everyone I knew who purchase from a company that used them as their installers posted on here, I guarantee their rating would look more like 4.5 Ask people you KNOW after TIME how their panels are. See how "cheaper" companies out there that use china's version of Titans AMERICAN product don't hold up. I would recommend them to my family and friends...oh wait, I DO recommend them to my family and friends! They are doing my mothers, aunt's and cousin's this next month and I look forward to their amazing reviews of this awesome company!

"Still brand new and the panels haven't started producing any power yet. But they look good on the roof, happy with the whole installation process so far. Phil M and the support team have been responsive when I reach out to them so no issues there. Phil always gets back to me via call or text right away whenever I reach out.*

Sales rep was very informative. It took about a month to get installed. Install was done in a day. Getting it turned on took about 3 more weeks. Everything has been up and working.

At first i was pretty upset but it was they made a simple mistake on my account, agter they fixed it and panels arennow running for sñmodt 1 year, I cant complaint, my panels are really good, now in Nevada the heat is horrible and ny panels get so so much energy from the sun that my bill is been the same, so o definitely recomend the company. Usually people only write bad reviews but the good ones are always out of the picture.

We have had Titan Solar and they are a fine company. The only problem is that we have to monitor our system. There is an app we have on our phones and every day I go and check to make sure everything is working. If it is not, you call their customer service and then they respond and resolve the issue.

Titan solar power came today. I have to say we had a lot of bumps along the road getting this system to run right but OMAR from Titan kept on it and worked with Generac to get it just right. I can't believe how much this system actually produces now that all the links work. So thank you Omar for being patient , professional and hard working Customer service could be much better and response to emails are not existent. That's something they need to work on . Purchased Oct 2022 installed Jan 2023 fully operational June 1 2023

Titan Solar - North Carolina: Customer Service: Slow & Ineffective Purchase Agreement signed August 9, 2021. New system was activated on May 18, 2022(!) (Titan held 78% of the final cost for 7! months before system activation.) Intermittent production began on December 28. Technician arrived 16 days after requesting service. Said to call SolarEdge (inverter) next time it happens. Intermittent production starts again on February 2. SolarEdge says it is a grounding issue - call Titan. February 28, 2023 - Called Titan - they say two to three weeks out to get service. Voice message from Titan on March 13, saying technician will be out on March 31. So far, nearly three months since the problem began. $31,142.50 for a system that is not currently working at all..... Those are the facts.

What To Look For In A Solar Installer?

When looking for a solar installer, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure you choose a reputable and competent company that meets your needs.

When selecting an installer like Titan Solar Power consider:

Experience and Reputation:

Look for a company with a solid track record and years of experience in the solar industry. Read the latest Titan Solar Power solar reviews from past customers to gauge their reputation.

Certifications and Licenses:

Ensure the installer holds the necessary licenses and certifications required in your area. Look for certifications from organizations like the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to verify their expertise.

Quality Products and Technology:

Inquire about the types and brands of solar panels, inverters, and other equipment they use. Quality matters for long-term performance. Ask if they offer the latest solar technologies, such as high-efficiency panels or energy storage solutions.

Warranty Information:

Understand the warranties they offer for equipment and workmanship. A reputable installer should provide comprehensive warranties. The majority of modern solar panels are equipped with a warranty spanning 20 to 30 years, encompassing both the product's integrity and its energy output. An ordinary workmanship warranty offered by a certified company typically provides coverage for solar panels for an average period of 10 years.

Transparent Pricing and Contracts:

Get detailed solar quotes that include all costs, from equipment and labor to permits and inspections. Review the contract carefully to ensure it's clear and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises.

Local Knowledge:

Choose a company familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. This can expedite the installation and ensure compliance.

Customized Design:

Look for companies who provide custom solar system designs tailored to your specific energy needs and property characteristics.

Energy Production Estimates:

The installer should provide accurate estimates of how much energy the system will generate, factoring in local climate conditions and other key influences. If your estimated solar savings are much higher with one solar company, you'll want to inquire further to ensure their savings projections aren't skewed to close the sale. Connect with us for a free estimate.

Financing Options:

Inquire about solar financing options, including purchase, lease, or power purchase agreements (PPAs). Ensure you know the pros and cons of each option.

Customer Service:

Assess their responsiveness and willingness to answer your questions and concerns and consider the installer's commitment to your project satisfaction. Throughout your solar process we’ll advocate for you, ensuring your solar project is done right.

References and Recommendations:

Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have installed solar panels. Ask the installer for references from past clients who can share their experiences. You can also read the latest reviews on Titan Solar Power.

Multiple Quotes:

Don't hesitate to obtain quotes from multiple installers to compare pricing, services, and warranties. Hint: We can help!

Financing and Incentive Knowledge:

Ensure the installer is knowledgeable about available incentives, tax credits, rebates and financing options. At EnergyPal, we’ll help maximize your savings.

Safety Practices:

Confirm that the installer adheres to safety protocols during installation to protect both workers and your property.

By researching and considering these factors, you can select a reputable solar installer who will provide a quality solar energy system and a positive experience throughout the installation process. Connect with us to learn more about the best solar installers in your area.

Steps for Installing Solar Panels

  • Qualification: Contact solar companies through web forms, referrals, or flyers. Answer questions to determine eligibility.
  • System Design: Receive initial solar system design in a proposal. Review the design and consider panel placement, avoiding “under-sizing“ or “oversizing.“
  • Compare Quotes: Evaluate quotes, considering factors like monthly payments, power output, and system details. Seek guidance to simplify the comparison.
  • Contract Signing: Select a company and panel design, understand and sign the contract.
  • Site Survey: Technician assesses the site for solar panel installation, checking roof orientation and structural integrity.
  • Engineering: Behind-the-scenes process finalizes system layout, electrical configuration, and structural safety for permit submission.
  • Permitting: The company obtains necessary permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Installation: Expert team mounts panels, installs wiring and inverters, connects the system to the grid.
  • System Activation: Request final inspections, obtain permission to operate (PTO) from the utility, and turn on the system. Monitoring apps track power generation. From a signed contract to installation and system activation this process can take two to six months to complete. Check out our article for a more indepth look into the solar installation process.
